History

As Covid was breaking in early 2020 Carlos Bhola met Dr. Lou Falo.

Lou, the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, shared with Carlos his twenty plus years of research on skin biology and dissolvable MAP technology.

Carlos, with deep roots at Carnegie Mellon University, and a serial entrepreneur creating pioneering businesses that disrupted the tech and telecom industries, immediately saw a parallel opportunity to catalyze advancements in skin biology and MAP technology to solve major health challenges—including a faster, cheaper, and better way to prevent Covid.

Carlos and Lou assembled a team of accomplished professionals to translate the established scientific know-how for skin biology and MAP technology into commercially compelling products.
